Aku baru balik dari Pasir Gudang, semalam. Dua hari aku di Pasir Gudang. Bekerja dan bukan jalan-jalan. Tapi pekerjaan aku adalah berjalan-jalan.
I was in Pasir Gudang - checking of new pipelines installed. The pipeline's inspection process took me around 4 hours to complete the whole route. It was only the On-site inspection, and the documentation inspection took me another 6 hours to complete the discussion. Pretty massive, isn't it? Or am i being too particular about the project progress?
The most exiting part was the 'jalan-jalan' part. The new pipeline is about 2km long. And we were walking along the pipelines, eerr... checking to be exact. Inspecting, taking pix, jotting notes and exchanging ideas along the way. Ok, it was tiring. Very much tiring for a big fat gurl (i refer myself as a big fat gurl (gurl? hahahah)) to practise those exercise. But i rather be seen tergolek dog tengah jalan than be seen keletihan while doing my job. Kembang hidung when one of the member complimented "waaah, not bad aaa u. Never thought u can tahan the exercise".
Being a woman engineer is a challenge and a proud image to women in the society. So i can't really potray myself as weak and "i can't do it.." type of girl. I have to be energetic and aggressive. Yeah.. and i ended up jalan-jalan for 4km.. tiring but fun!
