Takziah dari aku untuk our Prime Minister-Datuk Sri Abdullah and family atas pemergian Datin Sri Endon.
Pagi-pagi semalam datang ke office, terkejut bila aku bukak email sent by Omar regarding the news. All these while aku ingat she was recovering since newpaper reported that she's doing fine. I was never expected that her condition deteriorated after she got back from her treatment. She was suppose to recover.. But that is Allah's will.. And He knows what is best for His people.
I was never a fanatic fan of Pak Lah. Neither late Endon..but i do admire Pak Lah's approach when he took over Tun Mahathir's post as our PM. Humble, down-to-earth, calm and caring personality. And i praise late Endon for her effort of 're-branding' of batik. I was once so embarrass to wear batik as it was so out-dated in one of the function attended.. but not anymore. Batik now is a trend after its rebranding by late Endon and it also helps to improve Batik manufacturers which most of them are Orang Melayu... She also created cancer awareness, an effort which leads to a better quality life of Malaysian women. Job well done by our First Lady!
Tribute to late Endon by TV3 left me weeping whole night after bukak puasa semalam. I keep on questioning - "How will a Prime Minister survive without a wife?".. well, we always hear that 'Behing Every Successful Man, There's Always a Woman', right? Now who will be the Woman for Pak Lah? How sad.. and what a great loss...
I can't write much as characters are really blurr now. Yesterday was so gloomy and so does today..
