perihal sibuk dan beg GUNI
sibuknyaa Cik Marilyn..
Kira-kira dengan jari, lagi 3 bulan for the big day... and kena pegi outstation sama banyak dengan minggu dalam sebulan. Tup tup dah January, tup tup dah February. Sekarang plak dah March. Pening kepala Cik Marilyn.
Lepas nih dah tak leh pakai title Cik in front of my name. I think i am gonna miss that. I was at Kuantan yesterday when Chua mentioned that my front title will need to change to Puan - soon. Gawd!! It never came accross my mind at all. Selama ni cukup senang dengan title Ms in front of my name.

Banyak dah aku berjalan sejak balik from Bangkok. In fact, i have been to Cambodia, Penang, Johore and Kuantan. Phew..
And yes, i still hutang my Bangkok pix. Sorry Oya.. My colleague Meen 'ter' format my memory card on my last day at Bangkok. So those left are my photos taken at the airport. Meen was trying to decrease the resolution at that time. Tak per.. it shows that we need to properly read the manual before we operate a digi-cam - so positive, huh? Hahaha..

Oh.. there's a story i would like to share with all on that Bangkok trip. It was so many things to pack.. and my 2 bags was out of space although i have open the 'expandable' part. Meen offered me her jalur-jalur bag. You know.. bags yang banyak bangladeshis bawak tuh. The blue with yellow, green and red stripes GUNI material bag. And it was then i realize our Malaysian authorities are very discriminative. Double standards.
I hold the bag as my hand luggage. No prob. MANY shopping items inside and i have had the experience my luggage been ransacked. The Thais authority mcm OK jer. everybody seems OK. Tak der org kisah pun.
The 'nightmare' started when i landed at KLIA. The imigration people instructed me to the passport lane with an irritating voice "Daripada mana nih??? Beratur ikut lorong betul la.."
He stopped when i turned and say "From Bangkok and I am a Malaysian!!". His reply was only "Uhhh.."
It does not stop there. The person attending the luggage dok tengok-tengok with a very curious look as well. And the worst part - tak pernah-pernah kena tahan dengan custom selama ni and the lady Custom (in her some high tone) "Berhenti-berhenti! Ni daripada mana nih? Scan semua bag tu dulu!!"
The Lady Custom's face changed gentle and turn to continue her cheerful conversation with the other 3 officers when i answered in my Malaysian accent of Bahasa Malaysia "From Bangkok. Kena scan jugak ker?" sambil my hand masukkan my bag dalam the scanning machine.
The sad part was, none of the officers look at the monitor in front of them. They all continue with their HOT GOSSIPS (i assume looking at their expressions and hand gestures). NONE responded to my questions when i asked "Dah boleh ambik bag ker?".. So i took my bag and blah to the taxi counter.
The police officer standing outside the arrival door even looked at my GUNI bag and asked me "DARI MANA NI?" (why is everybody so 'peramah'?) Even the taxi man yang bahagikan limo cab directed me to a very old taxi after his eyes glanced at my GUNI bag eventhough my turn should be to a brand new taxi. I objected to the taxi man request for a new cab stating that he should treat me fairly since my turn is that brand new cab but the reply was "SAMA AJE.. nak sampai rumah ke tak?"
So sickening!! and i realize we are so double standards to foreigners from the countries with the economic status lower than us. I started to understand their feelings from Indonesia, Nepal, Bangladesh, etc. It shouldn't be!!! We are all humans and we all pay the same price for the services. If Najib wants everybody to start using public transport well, the services people should change the attitude immediately.
