"Lembu Dilarang Masuk"

Korang pernah tengok tak signboard mengatakan "Lembu Dilarang Masuk"? Masa aku dalam perjalan balik drdp Kelantan ke Kuala Lumpur lepas Aidiladha, aku jadi penumpang - menumpang kereta Aunty and Uncle Mualaf aku. So peluang tuh aku gunakan sepenuhnya melihat kawasan-kawasan jajahan aku dan memerhati pokok-pokok di tepi-tepi jalan. Kagum sungguh. Jarang dapat peluang macam ni sebab selalunya aku hanya jadi pemandu. Jadi pemandu kurang sikit tumpuan pada sekeliling. Tumpuan hanya pada kereta dan jalan raya sambil jeling-jeling sikit kat tepi-tepi jalan mencari lemang dan durian (kalau musim durian).

Aku ternampak signboard "Lembu Dilarang Masuk" kat satu area kelapa sawit yang baru ditanam. Anak kelapa sawit lah. Siap ada gambar lembu dalam bulatan dan berpalang merah lagi kat situ. Tergelak besar aku. Tak pasti ditujukan kepada pemilik lembu atau kepada lembu itu sendiri. Lembu boleh membaca ker? Phrase BODOH MACAM LEMBU selalu digunakan. Sah sah lembu tak reti membaca. Tapi signboard tu macam ditujukan kepada lembu. Entah lah.. tak heran pun pasal banyak signboard yang disalah eja dan nampak kelakar kalau kita perhatikan di sekeliling kita ni. Atau pemilik ladang yang tak bijak meletakkan perkataan sedemikian? Tapi kalau difikirkan, target group signboard tuh ialah lembu. Cuma mungkin tak perasan bahawa Lembu tak reti membaca.

NIcky Cage

Semalam aku menonton National Treasure. To makeupthetoilet readers yang suka cerita action-but-no-so-action, u are reccommended to watch this movie. Memang best lah. Aku memang sukakan cerita yang nampak real, ada action and buat kita berpikir. National Treasure is the movie. Cerita pasal Gates generation yang mencari harta karun. Interesting on how they have made the movie begitu banyak clue to be solved. And as normal, hero witty Nicky Cage memang dapat solved all the clues... with the help of his father and beautiful Ms Chase (plus Riley).

Menonton National Treasure macam turut sama menyesaikan the riddles yang diberikan. Quite reluctant sebab history knowledge yang aku tahu tak sebanyak kisah Hang Tuah 5 bersaudara... but i got to see buildings and buildings and buildings (old buildings). So very antique and artistic.

Aku tak nak comment banyak about the movie. U guys should go and watch it. Happy watching!

Horoscope

Tetiap hari aku baca horoscope. Ada orang kata tak baik kalau kita baca horoscope. Seperti menilik nasib. Ada orang kata, kalau baca tak per tapi jangan percaya sebab ketentuan terletak pada qada' dan qadar Allah. Ada orang kata, baca jer - untuk suka-suka. Entahlah. Tapi aku memang suka baca horoscope. Rasa macam ada orang pandai-pandai predictkan akunyer life for that day. Free or charge pulak tu. Kah..kah..kah..

Selalunya lepas aku baca, samaada aku akan tersengih atau puzzled face. Tersengih pasal of course horoscope tuh predict yang baik-baik untuk aku hari itu. Puzzled sebab kadang-kadang, aku tak paham apa yang dikatakan oleh horoscope tersebut.

Tapi aku selalu terpikir.. betul ker? mana dia tahu? I mean it is quite ..... (dunno the word) to put up a comment about someone's future everyday. Plus kena buat untuk semua orang, every day lain-lain comments.. phew.. ada any particular calculation ker?

Big "C"

Tadi masa lunch gi makan Bubur Ayam McDee with Linda. Secawan air teh panas tumpah sebelum sempat diminum oleh Linda dan tempiasnya terkena sikit pada kaki seluar aku. Nasib baik aku sempat berdiri. Tindakan reflex bila cawan air teh tuh tergolek sama rata dengan meja di McDee yang bercorak-corak suram. Kalau tak mungkin jugak lah terasa pedih teh panas tu.

Aku hanya senyum je. Tak ambil hati pun. Kejadian tuh tak sikit pun hilangkan mood aku berborak-borak dengan Linda. Kaki seluar masih boleh dicuci nanti. Accident can happen anytime.

Tapi Linda mungkin rasa agak bersalah jika dilihat dari air muka nya. "Marilyn (of course she mentioned my real name), my "C" is getting bigger and bigger each day. It now turns to a big "C" "

Hahahaha. C for CLUMSY. Aku hanya gelak sambil angguk-angguk kepala. She is! and I am too! That explains why we can get along together so well....

A'Famosa

I'm back from A'Famosa Resort. Disebabkan aku tak diberi komisyen untuk promote A'Famosa.. so my remarks would be seikhlas hati lah. 5 days 4 nights kat sana. And at this moment ada A'Famosa Carnival until 22nd February 2005 (kalau tak silap aku).

The carnival saved my nights at A'Famosa. There were Cowboy Parade - where we watched cowboys with horses, animals (part nih aku suka elephant dancing. There was this one baby elephant yang mcm tak di control. When she heard the music, kepala then pusing-pusing automatic. Comel giler!), sexy Russsian dance (menari pakai thong tuh), kereta berhias and all.. Aku ada jugak amik gambar dengan albino snake (eeeiiyeerrr..), at the end, ada fire works. Nih paling best pasal aku memang suka tengok bunga api.





After the parade, ada Red Indian Show. Part ni ada occupational hazard involved - those "RED INDIANS" buat show yang tiup-tiup api. I have to say that it is pretty well impressive. Really impressive actually.. But then they are exposed to accupational hazard. Kerosene (minyak tanah) shouldn't be swallowed and put inside your mouth. Even direct contact pun should be avoided. Normal practise to wash your hand with kerosene bila kena cat is a no-no because it is direct contact. Those Red Indian performers masukkan kero dalam mulut and tiup dekat api. Envy their guts but then have my pity on them. For long term effects, they are exposing themselves to cancer. And i shall reserve my comments on this pasal.. yer lah... Practically, not every one kerja dalam office pakai blazer. Ada orang yang have to do all sort of work in order to earn a living like entertaining people, sapu sampah, pick up wastes, etc.



There was this one night where we watched the Russian Dance performing live inside the Cowboy Town. Hemm.. Best. Ada "gelek dance" and all sort of sexy-mexy dance performed. Hahaha.. Seriously, BEST! U all should watch it (and errr... my friends said the midnight show was even better. I only watched the 1030hrs show).

The A'Famosa Waterpark - there slides were great!! Sampai 3 kali aku slided down. Luckily because we were there time tak der orang so we got the chance to slide - tak payah que.

Tapi satu tak puas hati is that A'Famosa tak ada a very good chef. Food was the :-( here. The combination of food tak kena langsung. Suppose they urgently need to improve on that.



Ok.. Penat.. Tomorrow's Monday. Need to spend my time bermalas-malasan before the new week begins.

Salah kah?

Salahkah kalau kita berfikiran lebih maju daripada orang lain?
Salahkan kalau kita ter'over' gembira daripada orang lain?
Salahkah kalau kita terlebih adventurous daripada orang lain?
Salahkah kalau kita cuba untuk meneroka sesuatu yang baru dan di luar kebiasaan?
Salahkah?

Banana T-shirt

Isn't it cute? I found the t-shirt displayed at Endah Parade one fine Sunday morning when I was searching for a Raya T-shirt for my brother. Quickly grabbed my camera and shot the pix for my own collection. Did not really have any intention to buy though. Malu nak pakai. Hahaha. But really cute. It displayed all types of the same kinda thingy around the world. Hemm.. I wonder sape yang beli that T-shirt......

Malaysia - 1, Indonesia - 4

Aku hanya masuk stadium pada separuh masa kedua. Baru mula nak bersorak, Indonesia jaringkan gol pertama. Seterusnya kedua, ketiga dan keempat. Sebelum wisel penamat, aku sudah keluar dari stadium. Aku masih frust. Setakat ini, tak ingin memberikan komen apa-apa tentang Cawan Rimau Malaysia-Indonesia semalam....

Turbulence

Happy New Year (Tahun Masehi)!!

There were a lot of ups and downs for Marilyn in year 2004. Well maybe more downs than the ups... But what the heck! Life goes on and hopefully my star will shine brighter this 2005 year. I have listed down many, many and many (you just can't imagine the numbers) wishes to be fulfilled this 2005. New Year Resolutions. Never had any for the past years though. Would be grateful if i can at least complete and achieve half of it. As for the other half, it is purposely to be achieved in year 2006... so I can save my 2005 time planning for 2006 as i've planned it earlier in past 2004. Hahah!! Smart, isn't it?
